Jacksonville is not known for a very good public transportation system. The city is the biggest city in the USA, by area, so bring some form of motorized transportation to get around. From downtown it is 40 minutes to the beaches, 45 minutes to St. Augustine, 20 minutes to the zoo, 15 minutes to Five Points (all times approx. time may vary based on traffic and time of day)
