MVV is the public transportation system in Germany
You can buy your ticket from tram or bus-driver, blue machines marked with a yellow "K", or from a kiosk. Validate the ticket by inserting it into the blue "Entwerter" box marked with an "E" in stations, trams and/or buses.
Munich is divided into zones:the centre (Innenraum) and three outer zones called Aussenraum. The Majority of places you'll want to go are in the center. You will have to pay more if you want to travel further away from the city centre.
