How to post photo in photo contest

The Easy Way
1) go to the bottom of this page, and click on the tab "files"
2) click on "upload new file"
3) Click on browse box and choose photo from your computer
4)give it a name
5)Save
6)I'll add the photo personally later

• try and use a small version of your photo. We're only allowed 300MB total

The Hard Way

1) Create a new page (ideally photoyear"whatever # is next")
2) Upload photo

• go to bottom of page, click "files"
• upload screen will pop up, choose "upload new file"
• Click on browse box and choose photo file from your computer and click ok
• in "Destination file name" type in what you want to name photo (no spaces)
• click "upload file"

3) Edit page

• go to bottom of page, click on tab "edit"
• Page editor will come pop up
• click on insert image wizard (middle row 5th box from the right)
• Image wizard will pop up
• select attached file under source type
• choose your photo from box and click ok
• under embedded photo add name, location, title, etc
• click "save" at bottom of page

4) link page current page to previous photo of year page

• find webaddress of previous page (www.backpacking.wikidot.com/photoyear"whatever number"
• click on "edit" at bottom of your photo page
• in page editor click on "URL wizard" (middle row 7th from right)
• enter web address of previous page (www.backpacking.wikidot.com/photoyear"whatever number" in URL box
• in anchor text type "< previous" and save in URL
• Save at bottom of page

5) link previous page to your photo page

• copy your photo's webaddress (www.backpacking.wikidot.com/photoyear"whatever # is next"
• go to previous page (www.backpacking.wikidot.com/photoyear"#"
• click on "edit" at bottom of page
• in Page editor click on "URL wizard" (middle row 7th from right)
• URL wizard will pop up
• enter the webaddress of your photo sight in "URL box"
• in anchor text type " Next >"
• save in URL wizard
• save at bottom of page

6) Comments (optional) if you want people to be able to make comments

• click on "edit" on bottom of page
• under everything (embeded photo, Links to previous page) type "[[module Comments]]"
• Save changes at bottom of page

If all of this is too much, then just upload the photo on this page and I'll do it personally - C.P.
