Places to go El Chalten, Argentina
Small Hamlet of El Chalten is a climber mecca. Next to the fitzroy and Cerro Torre this tiny village has climbers everywhere. Restaurants and climber themed and show climbing videos. People move here for the climbing/tourist season. If you're into trekking, local stores rent out camping equipment at reasonable prices. ATM's are rare if none exsistent, and internet is satelite so a bit pricey. People who come here tend to be experienced trekkers and climbers. Tis amazing.
