The oasis is small. So walking is the way to go.

Places to Stay
Casa de Arenas is a sweet hostel. It's got a bar, swimming pool and a party atmosphere. all for around 10-15 soles. But buyer beware of the all you can eat bbq. Groups of travellers have been know to be hit by the bbq bug.

There are lots of small cheap resturants near the center of town all around the lake.
