Getting in and out
Bus
There is a bus from San Jose to Tamarindo, and it takes roughly 6 hours, costs $6 USD or so.

Air
There is an airport near Tamarindo, but the price is pretty expensive. Check carriers for prices and times.

Getting Around
Walkng is a good way to see the place, but some people prefer to rent scooters. I believe bike rentals are also possible.
