Taxi driver scams

• Watch out for taxi drivers in Buenos Aires. Especially from the airport. They switch out fake bills and try to tell you that you gave them less than what you did. beware. Stare a the bill before you give it to the cab driver and make sure that he sees you do it. Also, it helps to be famliar with a map before you get to Argentina because many drivers take "the long way around"
• Also, some taxi drivers will give you change that is fake. Examine any money a taxi driver gives you.
• Also, I've heard of taxi drivers pretending to have a flat tire and asking for help. The second you get out of the car to help, they drive off with all your stuff.
